Ravi Shah, Esq. attended Rutgers University majoring in English and minoring in Physics. Afterward he attended Western New England School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. Upon passing the bar in 2012, Mr. Shah worked in a large firm defending insurance companies from various personal injury claims. In this time Mr. Shah learned exactly how to win against insurance companies in cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, medical device failures, and toxic exposures.

However, defending billion-dollar companies did little to assist Mr. Shah making society a better place. In 2018, Mr. Shah decided to leave his big firm job and joined the Office of the Public Defender for New Jersey so he could pursue getting justice for those who cannot afford it. As a public defender Mr. Shah’s passion for justice quickly led him to make a very real reputation of being a thorn in the side of the prosecution and not backing down from a fight.

Mr. Shah has tried numerous cases in his capacity as a public defender and attained extremely favorable results for hundreds of clients. After spending years as a public defender, Mr. Shah decided to open up his own office so that he could defend and fight for anyone that sought out his assistance. His litigation style is defined aggressive, detail driven, and effective.
